There is so much more to painting an apple than I had first thought. The very slight colour changes on the skin, the different reflections, lights and darks...quite a wonderful subject to paint.

I absolutely love the colour of this bowl and when I lay the carrots in it.the colour just popped, then when I placed the tomatoes beside it  everything just came together...a perfect still life.
