I have painted this scene before on a smaller canvas.  The windows are outside of my studio at the art gallery I paint at once a week.  It is quite freeing moving to a larger canvas after doing so many painting on a 6 x 6.

This is another 8 by 8 for the show at The Old School House art gallery in Qualicum Beach.  Eighty artists will be participating, it will be wonderful to see everyones work.

Next month there is an 8 x 8 exhibit at The old school house gallery where I live. You can paint anything you want as long as the piece measures 8 x 8. I decided to paint Oreo again. Every year I purchase the Blue dog day timer with art by George Rodrigue, he paints the same dog over and over changing things about each painting…never gets boring. i look through every page to see what the next dog painting will be.
