While I was paining this little bird my friend came into my studio and said "that is the first skinny bird you have painted" and yes it was.  Usually I go for the chubby fluffy model but I loved this birds stance and colouring.

I really enjoyed painting this little bird, I decided to do a yellow background, at first I thought it would over power the bird but I think the yellow overload is great.
