Another cow painting, I used only a couple of blues, alizarin crimson, a touch of yellow and some black. I bought a new brush which is so fine, I added all the whiskers and squiggle as an after thought, love the new brush, I am going to try not to destroy it as I always do with the delicate brushes.

Walking in the woods this time of year is especially exiting. The changing of the seasons brings out the most incredible colours especially the almost neon leaves when against the dark background of foliage that has already fallen.

I took the photo of these beautiful sunflowers in the summer, they have definitely become a go to for my painting. I tried to be really loose and not focus too too much on all the details. I added the hints of purple at the end.
