I was driving around an older area in Nanaimo looking for character homes to photograph, what caught my eye was the colour of this little house...I just had to paint it.

I took this photo in Victoria, one of my very favourites cities. I want to paint more houses with serious shadow, I left out quite a bit of the detail at the front of the house just trying to focus on the larger blocks of colour...challenging for me but really enjoyed painting this.
