I have really been enjoying painting the Parker road cows. This beauty is one of many who wandered up to the fence, even though they are shy at first their curiosity always wins.

This cow had such complete confidence, he just sashayed right over to the fence and looked right at me...love when this happens. I am sure he knew I wanted to take his photo.

This lovely lives on Parker road not far from my house. I liked how she was standing making a great composition for a square panel...all cow is always good.

We met Missy at the fall fair and she was not at all impressed with our efforts at getting a good photo of her. After a couple of hours of back and forth with all the other animals she finally decided to do the photo shoot.

This is a Parker road resident, about a mile from where I live. I loved painting the folds and the shapes of this cow, the green underpainting is phthalo emerald a new favourite transparent of mine.

I started with a blue underpainting for this chicken, I have been experimenting with slightly different colours...even maybe a bit less colour. I love that you make the rules as you go with being creative.
