I painted this little lovely with very loose strokes, my favourite parts of this painting are the top of the birds head with the blue highlight and the eye...I love painting birds.

I go through phases with my painting...this is definitely a bird phase.  The background on this painting reminds me of wall paper, the more interest the better, even on a canvas this small your eye moves around to all the different points of interest.
