This painting was started with a magenta wash canvas. It was quite dark soI had to work at lightening the colours.  I used lots of small strokes on this painting.

I did an indian yellow underpainting on this panel, I like how the pink and yellow are so complimentary.  The girl that does my hair just started pole dancing...hence the name, it just seemed to fit.
