This is the first eagle I have painted, my friend Ron took the photo.  Where I live we see eagles regularly and it is still a thrill...I love nature.

I grew up with siamese cats so I am very partial to their wonderful personality and the sound of their oh so distinctive meow. This beauty was rescued in the summer after spending a couple of years outside.

I am on a flower painting role...so much fun, I love creativity.  I started this canvas with several transparent colours for the under painting and then just started filling in different colour patterns until everything came together.  Did I mention that I love pink?!

I have had this photo for months and finally decide to paint him.  I kept the painting really loose and actually put my brush down when I thought it should be finished...wow, pat on the back for me.
