AUDREY

6 x 6 inch oil
on 1/8th inch thick gesso board
$80.00

Today and every day I am so grateful for my surroundings, robins are so common where I live but so wonderful to watch, they love hanging out under our plum tree.  I started this painting with a transparent orange underpainting and kept my brush strokes very light and loose.

One of my favourite scenes overlooking Saltspring Island from Chemainus.  Vancouver Island is one of the most beautiful spots in Canada, it is a large island with many small islands just a short ferry ride away...a travellers paradise.
