My first painting since I arrived home. This beautiful bouquet is from Vertgen farms on Vancouver Island. I have to say they grow some of the most breath taking flowers that I have ever seen. I am very fortunate that I can just go up the road to the Saturday morning market where they have a stand.

Tulips are a definite favourite, the more I paint them, the more I get to know them. I used transparent's for the underpainting, all the colours get a little lift.
