This is my second try at this cow, I had completely finished the painting listed it went back a few hours later just for a peek pulled the listing and redid the painting.  I am much happier with this cow.

I have put off painting this cow, not sure about how to approach the ever so spotty nose, I wanted to make sure you could see the nostrils and not just think they were just more spots. I am happy with the outcome.

There is something wonderful about anything as soft and wispy as a baby calf, and so very innocent. I used a very limited palette and worked on enhancing the soft curves and leaving the brushwork very loose.
