Where to next

Though the deer have been feasting in  my garden all summer, I never tire of their sweet faces.  I took a few photos last week and today after looking at my garden(not a bloom left) I decided to paint one.

Cow 64 Another day

size 6 x 6

I think there could be a thousand paint strokes in this painting, I used a very small palette one blue, two reds, two yellows and of course burnt umber. I just kept mixing and mixing to get more and more wonderful colours...sometimes less is truly more.

Under the plum tree

6 x 6 inch

$50.00

This chair is usually in my living room, I decided to place it under the plum tree in my back yard for some different lighting. I like the idea of a velvet chair sitting on the lawn.

Bedroom chair

This is a chair I have had for a couple of years now, every time I look at it I want to paint it, today was the day. I am in love with the colour turquoise...thalo blue is one of my very favourite paint colours, it was a treat to use so much of it in this painting.
