Cow 53 Purple haze

8 x 6 inch
oil on panel
SOLD

Originally I was using purple just to add  hints of definition to the black, I just kept using more and more so I went with it.  I love the outcome,  I laugh every time I walk by this painting.

The colouring of this cow was very unique, more of a chocolate  brown with some beautiful rust, and her head looked as if she was wearing a hat...classy girl.

Cow 49 Pink everywhere

I seem to be getting a little abstract in my paintings, just suggesting some of the detail.  I am working on not having quite so many paint strokes...we shall see.
