Flower connoisseur

6 x 8 inches
oil on board
$65.00

I live in deer country, walking down the street, in my yard...everywhere, they have had many meals in my garden.  No matter how annoying that is I just love them.  My friend sent me some photos of the little darlings so here is my very first deer painting.

Cow 56 Chill

6 x 6 inch
oil on board
SOLD

I used thalo blue again for my underpainting, I changed the background colour twice before I was happy with it.  Sometimes when you have such a strong underpainting colour it competes with everything else.  In the end I was happy with the green.

I can't remember why I decided to paint my first cow, they are just so wonderful to paint.  I also had no idea how many cow fans there are.

$65.00
I was in Victoria last week with my girlfriend(such a beautiful city) We were wandering on Fort street which has some great antique stores, there sitting on the sidewalk just outside a cafe was this beautiful boxer, Paco was his name, the owners were more than happy to let me take pictures of him.  I have only every seen two or three white boxers, love their colouring, especially their pink rimmed eyes.

Cow 54 I'm serious

6 x 8 inch
oil on board
SOLD

I have painted this cow before,  I took a different approach starting with a thalo blue under painting.  I used alizarin crimson to soften the rust colour.  The more I paint cows the more I want to paint cows.
