I used transparent colours to under paint the cow and painted the background over the white canvas,  the cow seems to really stand out against it.  It is an absolutely amazing day so I thought the title was fitting.

I have painted this image before and enjoyed it just as much the second time.  These sweet fawns were just heading into the forest after their mother...possibly to look for something to nibble on.

It is definitely a day to paint flowers...rainy and cloudy. This magnolia was one of three in a row at a house we used to own, they were so very beautiful. One of my favourite things about spring is watching the foliage wake up and come to life again.

I have been so inspired by the lovely weather we have been having that I got in my car and drove around taking pictures.  Vancouver Island really does have some of the most beautiful scenery...I never take for granted the beauty that I live in.

Another cow day.  I really enjoy doing a painting when things are left to the imagination. You just add hints of colour which suggest certain details.
